Dr. Shaun McAlmont
An advocate for Career Readiness Education with 25 years of multi-sector experience.
Dr. Shaun McAlmont is President of Career Learning Solutions at Stride, Inc. Prior to this role, he served as President & CEO of Neumont College, and CEO of Lincoln Educational Services. Shaun's extensive career education experience is balanced by student services roles at Stanford University and Brigham Young University earlier in his career. Shaun achieved a Doctor of Education degree, with distinction, from the University of Pennsylvania. He earned his Bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University, where is was a NCAA and International athlete, serving as captain of the BYU Track and Field Team. Shaun's personal education achievement, in addition to his early roles at Stanford and BYU, and 25+ years of career and technical education experience, position him as one of the leading educators in the country to straddle secondary and higher education, in addition to career and traditional education. He currently serves on the BYU Marriott School of Management Advisory Council and is a Director on the BorgWarner Board of Directors.
